CALL FOR TEACHING ARTISTS

BalletMet Columbus is seeking to increase its Teaching Artist roster for the 2010-2011 season. Eligible candidates should have experience teaching in public schools and/or private studios working with a variety of age groups. Teaching Artists need to be organized, responsible, and energetic. Applicants should possess a desire to share the art of dance with the community. A degree in dance or a related field and /or performance experience is preferred but not necessary. Specialization in a variety of dance styles is encouraged. Work hours are primarily during school hours but may include some weekends or evenings. Reliable transportation is required.

Teaching Artists are considered contract labor.
