BalletMet Columbus, a
professional dance
company, nurtures both
career-track and vocational students. It
offers a comprehensive
curriculum including
ballet, tap, modern
jazz, ballroom and
Pilates.
Ranked among the country's top five dance-training centers affiliated with a professional company, BalletMet Dance Academy teaches 1,200 students age 4 through senior citizens. Classes are taught by professional faculty, many of whom have danced with companies throughout the world, and most feature live musical accompaniment.
Special tracks include the intensive, classically based Pre-Professional Program, and YouthMet, a teen ensemble that offers performance opportunities.
