2008 Half Day Camps
Vista Plaza Location, 1141 North Hamilton Road
SUMMER BEAT (Ages 6 to 8)
August 11-15, 12-3pm daily
Move to the beat as campers experience tap, ballet and eurhythmics to help them in movement of all sorts. Visual arts will also help to bring it all together. On Friday show your parents what you have learned and celebrate!
SUMMER STRUT (Ages 9 to 11)
August 4-8, 1-4pm daily
Enjoy an afternoon of dance and movement. Campers will experience ballet, modern jazz, and improvisation, along with arts and fun. Parents get to come on Friday and see what you have accomplished and celebrate with you!
SUMMER CHILL (Ages 9 to 13)
July 14-18, 9am-12pm daily
Come dance with us and learn how to chill! Campers will have the opportunity to try ballet, Modern Jazz, and Yoga as well as have some artsy fun! On Friday your parents are invited to see what you have accomplished and celebrate with you!
2008 Full Day Camps
SUMMER CHILL & STRUT (Ages 7-1/2 to 12)
Downtown Dance Centre, 322 Mt. Vernon Ave.
June 16-20, 9am-4pm
The campers will strut and chill through several forms of dance along with music, visual, and theatrical arts. They will see first hand how dance and all of these different disciplines can create movement physically and visually! All campers enjoy the energy regardless of previous dance experience.
Activities include: Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Yoga, Improvisational Acting, Arts & Crafts, and more! Company guest artists will present costuming, partnering and additional demonstrations. The week culminates in a Camp Sharing Session for campers and parents.
SUMMER CHILL & CREATE (Ages 9 to 13)
July 14-18, 9am-4pm (M-TH) 9am-12pm (F)
Vista Plaza Location, 1141 North Hamilton Road
Spend the mornings enjoying BalletMet's Summer Chill then Monday through Thursday, bring your lunch and we'll walk on over to the Young Chef's Academy. Enjoy the afternoon by learning how to create delectable treats and enjoying your creations. Parents can pick you up at the Young Chef's Academy at the end of a full day at 4pm Monday through Thursday, and at BalletMet at noon on Friday!

A $25 non-refundable deposit fee is included in camp fee. No refunds for withdrawal after May 15. Five percent discounts for payments made in full prior to April 1. A $5 discount available for siblings. All camps must be paid in full by June 1, 2008.
